Gary joined Lewellyn Technology in the fall of 2000 as a full time instructor. He had spent the last 25 years working in a variety of positions in the Electrical field. Most recently he was an Associate Process Design Engineer with Mannesman VDO in Auburn, Ind. In that position he was responsible for production line layouts, equipment specification, and machine design. Prior to that position he was in the Maintenance Department as a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician for 11 years. Mannesman VDO was previously Philips Technology, and prior to that was known as Magnavox Industrial Corp. They were automotive sensor and control device manufacturers. In his maintenance position he was tasked with machine repairs, modifications, and design. He has also been a part time Instructor at Ivy Tech State College for many years teaching Electrical Controls and PLC’s. Gary has an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute.
