Electrical Ladder Drawings II
Understanding Electrical Drawings
(printable outline)
This seminar is designed for those individuals who are familiar with the concepts covered in our Electrical Ladder Drawings I seminar and want to further their knowledge in this field. Attending Electrical Ladder Drawings I is not a prerequisite for attending this seminar, but it is recommended.
Several multiple page electrical diagrams will be examined and discussed to compare the various detailed cross-reference systems that appear on them. You will participate in instructor led troubleshooting examples that will explain how these systems work.
You will also learn how to read and understand the electrical diagrams for PLC controlled equipment. We will explain the symbols, terminology, and electrical diagrams used for PLC controlled equipment and how it can be used in troubleshooting. A part of the seminar is also dedicated to international electrical diagrams and the basic symbols and standards associated with them. Actual European and Asian electrical diagrams will be covered to explain differences and similarities to standard NEMA style electrical diagrams.
